I feel your pain really. Most of the young folks in Turkey can feel it too.

Individualism does not exist in Turkey. We live in the community for the community. We have a developing economy and eastern culture. So, Immigration from the eastern parts of the country is not very well organized. Villagers still live as villagers in Istanbul. Because there isn’t any immigration policy. Also, corruption and the opportunity of hitting the jackpot by means of construction make people greedy. Actually, it is a general problem for underdeveloped or developing countries. Finally, we do not have land as much as you guys have in the States.

Anyway, stay healthy. Best luck with your Istanbul experience.
